‘Back to Basics’ posts and articles are always popular, especially when engineers are asked to work outside of their normal disciplines, and get up to speed quickly in new areas.
A while ago, I generated a number of such posts for Vicor, a designer and manufacturer of modular power systems, power distribution architectures, conversion topologies and packaging technology.
One that I suggested and wrote, about Power Factor correction, was for a while the Vicor site’s most popular topic in terms of traffic, and is still included on their PowerBlog site today.
